- FACT * FACT* What??
- you just answered my question.. WB in 8 colurs 3 bits is definitely going to
- redraw the screen faster than a 8 bit or 24 bit machine. I have a 64 bit video
- card and I too can have a blazingly fast redraw rate.. Much faster than any
- Amiga... A while ago, I POINTED out an obvious fact from an Amiga Magazine
- chronicling how it took an Amiga 4000 to do a simple Gaussian Blur on a 712 by
- 512 image.. This feat took 6 MINUTES.... Geeez, it takes me 15 seconds on my
- PC.. I have yet to hear a response.. Fact, I've offered to see how many Amigas
- can handle my large VRML files. I've stated that an Amiga would carsh to a
- screeching halt when it comes to rendering in real time. FACT, I've sent out
- four copies of my VRML files to would be takers. FACT, I have yet to hear
- from any of them..
- So don't tell me a A1200 performs better tan a Penitum 75.
-
- FACT, I would dare you to set up a video conference with me and do similar
- tasks at the same time.. Let See how fast it takes to open windows, do simple
- graphic feats like blurring and image or sharpening an image.. FACT, I don't
- think you take me on my challenge.. FACT, I know Amigas don't have video
- conferencing technology..
